Dr. JBG: Scholar, Strategist, and Architect of Unmuted Voices

I help institutions recognize, name, and respond to harm with intellectual and ethical precision.

My work integrates lived experience with interdisciplinary research across international relations, political science, sociology, psychology, ethical leadership, business management, human resources, criminal justice, victimology, and theology. Leaders partner with me when they know unaddressed harm is not only an ethical problem but also an operational and reputational risk.

Lived Experience, Interdisciplinary Rigor

My authority is grounded in both lived experience and disciplined inquiry. I draw on:

Direct engagement with survivors and communities impacted by interpersonal and community violence, including human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, and community gun violence.

Formal study across international relations, political science, sociology, psychology, ethical leadership, business management, human resources, criminal justice, victimology, and theology.

Years of collaboration with institutions that shape public life, including universities, nonprofits, faith communities, and global organizations.

I treat narrative, data, and doctrine as complementary forms of evidence. Survivor accounts, empirical research, legal frameworks, and organizational culture all inform the diagnostic questions I ask and the recommendations I make.
